RESOLUTION
to recognize and honor grant hunter for his dedicated
service as a house Page since 2024 and to congratulate him on being named Head
Page for the current legislative session.
W
hereas, Grant has
served with distinction as a page for the South Carolina House of
Representatives since 2024 and was named head page for the current session; and
W
hereas, a native of
Irmo, Grant is the son of Kevin and April Hunter. A 2024 graduate of Spring
Hill High School, he recently completed his sophomore year at the Darla Moore
School of Business at the University of South Carolina, where he has earned
Dean's List honors every semester; and
W
hereas, a highly
motivated and driven individual, Grant has taken charge and fully immersed
himself in campus life and distinguished himself through leadership and service.
He was elected to USC's Student Government, where he served in the 117th
Student Senate. As a morale team member for the Dance Marathon at USC, he
helped raise nearly $800,000 for Palmetto Prisma Health Children's Hospital. Since
August 2025, he has served as a resident assistant for Bates House, and he recently
earned a place on the 2026-2027 USC Co-Ed Cheer Team; and
W
hereas, Grant is deeply
committed to his faith and is an active member of Midtown Fellowship, where he
faithfully serves in a leadership role and strives to encourage and positively
influence those around him; and
W
hereas, through his
dedication, leadership, and enthusiasm for the institution of South Carolina state
government, Grant has demonstrated exemplary service and commitment to the
citizens of this State. His professionalism, work ethic, and respect for the
legislative process reflect great credit upon himself, his family, and the
South Carolina House of Representatives; and
W
hereas, the South
Carolina House of Representatives takes great pleasure in celebrating the
outstanding achievements, dedicated service, strong character, and leadership
that Grant Hunter has demonstrated, and look forward to following his continued
success as he makes a meaningful impact on his community, his university, and
the State of South Carolina. Now, therefore,

by this resolution, recognize and honor Grant Hunter for his dedicated service as
a House page since 2024 and congratulate him on being named head page for the
