Jeremy was born on January 16, 1985. He is the grandson of Crawford Clements, a

W

racing for Jerry Young at Pikes Peak on July 26, 2003; and

W
hereas, on July 24,
2004, Jeremy suffered an injury that threatened his racing career while running
his No. 51 Late Model at 311 Speedway in Madison, North Carolina. He underwent eight
surgeries and months of physical therapy to regain use of his right hand. In
2005, he returned to the dirt track, and, in 2006, he started ten ARCA races with
three top five finishes and one top ten finish; and

W
hereas, following
several successful racing years, in 2011, Jeremy transitioned to the Nascar O'Reilly
Auto Parts Series (NOAPS) full time and ran a full season driving the No. 51
for Jeremy Clements Racing; and

W
hereas, over the
years, Jeremy has had a successful career involving many notable wins and top
finishes, including his second NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts series win at the
famed Daytona International Speedway in 2022; and

W
hereas, Jeremy will
start his five hundred forty-eighth NOAPS race at San Diego this June. He will
surpass the current record holder, Kenny Wallace, who has five hundred
forty-seven; and

W
hereas, all of Jeremy's
starts, including Busch, Nationwide, Xfinity, and O'Reilly Auto Parts Series,
have been in a Chevrolet; and

W
hereas, Jeremy
currently resides in his hometown of Spartanburg with his wife, Cortney; daughter,
Kennedy; and their dog, Mollie. During the off-season, Jeremy enjoys traveling
