TO CONGRATULATE Reverend Kenneth C. Taylor UPON THE
OCCASION OF HIS eighteenth ANNIVERSARY AS PASTOR OF Turner Memorial AME Church AND
TO COMMEND HIM FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO HIS CONGREGATION AND THE West
Columbia COMMUNITY.

W
hereas, the South
Carolina Senate is proud to recognize Reverend Kenneth C. Taylor upon the
occasion of his eighteenth pastoral anniversary; and

W
hereas, Reverend
Taylor serves as the pastor of Turner Memorial AME Church in West Columbia. His
church recognizes him as a phenomenal pastor who is dedicated to his calling
and the members of his church community. He leads with empathy, understanding,
and compassion; and

W
hereas, Reverend
Taylor has established several programs that continue to flourish, including
the Food Ministry, Clothes Ministry, Youth Program, nightly Prayer Ministry,
and a free medical clinic that provides free medical services from a licensed
physician, among other ministries and services; and

W
hereas, a beloved
leader in his community, Reverend Taylor is highly regarded as a builder of
bridges between people, drawing members of the community to the church and its
ministry work; and

W
hereas, the members of
the South Carolina Senate greatly appreciate the ministry of Reverend Taylor
and his service to Turner Memorial AME Church.. Now, therefore,

e it resolved by the
Senate:

T
hat the members of the
Senate, by this resolution, congratulate Reverend Kenneth C. Taylor upon the
occasion of his eighteenth anniversary as pastor of Turner Memorial AME Church
and commend him for his many years of service to his congregation and the West
Columbia community.

e it further resolved
that a copy of this resolution be presented to Reverend Kenneth C. Taylor.
