FRIENDS.

W
hereas, the members of

born in Bronx, New York on November 16, 1972 to parents Richard and Diasy
Jenkins. After moving to South Carolina at the age of five, he considered
himself a native of Charleston, where he attended elementary, middle, and high
school. He received his undergraduate degree in political science from North
Carolina A&T State University and his master's degree in political science
with a focus on public policy and urban politics from Clark Atlanta University.
He received his law degree from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas
Southern University; and

W
hereas, Judge Jenkins
was the owner and solo practitioner at the Law Office of Ittriss J. Jenkins LLC
in Charleston. His law office specialized in estate planning, asset protection,

certified Equal Employment Investigator; and

W
hereas, Judge Jenkins was
first appointed to the magistrate court bench in 2015 by South Carolina State
Senator Marlon Kimpson, and he served his community faithfully for over ten
years while also maintaining an active law practice. He served as Magistrate
Judge for North Area 2 and was revered and highly respected by his peers; and

of the United States District Court Bar of South Carolina, a member of Phi
Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, a member of the Charleston County Bar, a member of the

Charleston, a member of Charleston County Democrats Executive Committee, and
former chair of the Peninsula Democrats; and

W
hereas, a devout
Christian, Judge Jenkins served as a deacon at Royal Missionary Baptist Church.
His favorite scripture was Micah 6:8, "He hath shewed thee, O man, what is
good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love
mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"; and

W
hereas, in his free
time, he enjoyed reading, running, serving others, watching sports, listening
to live music, spending time with his family, and serving as a coach for Le
Pele's soccer club; and

W
hereas, Judge Jenkins
leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Loquita Bryant-Jenkins; his daughters, Na'Zyia
and Nyla; his parents, Richard and Daisy Jenkins; his brother, Richard
"Windell" Jenkins (Undrea); his sisters, Regina Jenkins, Vicki Jenkins,
Christina Jenkins, Jewroshelwa O'Banner, and Virginia "Daniese" Johnson; along
