RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE Bob ziembicki UPON THE OCCASION OF
HIS RETIREMENT as president of the sUN cITY cAROLINA lAKES rEPUBLICAN cLUB, TO
COMMEND HIM FOR HIS eight YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE, AND TO WISH HIM MUCH
HAPPINESS AND FULFILLMENT IN THE YEARS AHEAD.

W
hereas, the members of
the South Carolina Senate are pleased to recognize Bob Ziembecki upon the
occasion of his retirement as the president of the Sun City Republican Club on February
14, 2026; and

W
hereas, Mr. Ziembicki
became a member of the Sun City Republican Club in November 2015 and has served
as president since January 1, 2018. Under his tenure, the club grew to around eight
hundred members, with monthly meetings normally having over one hundred members
in attendance; and

W
hereas, he
administered the collection of dues, which raised over fifteen thousand dollars
in the last four years for Lancaster food banks, first responders, and
charitable organizations, such as the Lancaster Children's Home, Sherrif's
Office, and Coroner's Office. In 2025 the Club's entire donation, approximately
three thousand five hundred dollars, went to Samaritan's Purse for those in Asheville,
North Carolina who were devastated by Hurricane Helene; and

W
hereas, Mr. Ziembicki's
greatest accomplishment as president was inviting notable local, state, and
national Republican candidates, as well as elected officials to Sun City. He
cultivated strong relationships with these figures and increased the notoriety
of the club; and

W
hereas, Mr. Ziembicki
has also been active in the Sun City community outside of his work with the
Republican club. He served on the Sun City Carolina Lakes Board of Directors
for one year as secretary, three months as president, and one month as director;
and

W
hereas, Mr. Ziembicki and
will spend his retirement with his wife of forty-seven years, Christine, and
their dog, Lucky, serving as a realtor, golfing, and spending time at the beach
in Ocean Isle, North Carolina; and

W
hereas, the members of
the South Carolina Senate appreciate the passion and dedication that Bob
Ziembicki has shown in serving the people and the State of South Carolina.
Now, therefore,

e it resolved by the
Senate

hat the members of the
South Carolina
Senate
, by this resolution,
congratulate Bob Ziembicki upon the occasion of his retirement as president of
the Sun City Carolina Lakes Republican Club, commend him for his eight years of
dedicated service, and wish him much happiness and fulfillment in the years
ahead.

e it further resolved
that a copy of this resolution be presented to Bob Ziembicki.
