TO CONGRATULATE Stormy Snow Graham Sr. ON THE
OCCASION OF HIS Ninetieth BIRTHDAY AND TO WISH HIM A JOYOUS BIRTHDAY
CELEBRATION AND MUCH HAPPINESS IN THE DAYS AHEAD.

W
hereas, the members of
the South Carolina Senate are pleased to learn that Stormy Snow Graham Sr. will
celebrate this important milestone on February 6, 2026; and

W
hereas, a native of Kingstree,
Mr. Graham was born on February 6, 1936, to parents Snow Graham and Hattie
Scott Graham. He is a graduate of Williamsburg public schools; and

W
hereas, Mr. Graham worked
as a certified barber at West End Barber Shop from 1963 to 2018. A carpenter
and mason, he owned his own business, Stormy's Concrete Finisher. He used his
talents to build rooms and brick a house for his family; and

W
hereas, Mr. Graham
retired from the South Carilina Department of Public Transportation after
thirty-two years of dedicated service. He served as Chairman of the Board of
the South Carolina State Highway Department, which funded the paving of
different roads throughout Williamsburg County; and

W
hereas, over the
years, Mr. Graham has received a number of honors and awards, including the Key
to the City of Kingstree, the Trailblazer Award from the School of the Great
Commission Theological Seminary, the "Sunday Down South" Legendary Gospel
Singer Award, and numerous other awards from the South Carolina Department of
Transportation, Sandridge Believers Holiness Church, Believers Holiness
Convention, and the Snow and Hattie Scott Graham Family reunions; and

W
hereas, a devout
Christian, he is a member of Sandridge Believers Holiness Church, where he
serves on the Executive, Trustee, and Deacon Board and plays lead guitar; and

W
hereas, Mr. Graham was
married to the late Mary Alice "Sue" Barr Graham, and together they had six
children, Edna, Baby, Barbara Ann (Jerry) Knightner, Mary Louise (Elder Louis
Jr.) Green, Sandy LaWanda Graham, Commander Sergeant Major Stormy Snow Graham
Jr.; ten grandchildren, Kyle and Kayla Knightner, Louis Jermell, Me'Lisa,
Shanice Marie, Corey Emmanuel Stormy Green, Zoe and Ryelle McRae, Desmond
Stormy and Terique Graham; three great-grandsons, Taurean Nasir Green, Landon,
and Aiden Knightner; and six great-granddaughters, Khloe, Bella, DeAnna,
Amelia, and Kimora Knightner, and Safiyah Grace King; and

W
hereas, in his free
time, he enjoys poetry and rhyming, wearing his fancy cowboy hats and attire,
and hanging out with "The Men's Crew" at the McDonald's in Kingstree; and

W
hereas, the South
Carolina Senate takes great pleasure in honoring this son of South Carolina at
the celebration of his ninetieth birthday and is pleased to join with his
family and friends in congratulating him. Now, therefore,

congratulate Stormy Snow Graham Sr. on the occasion of his ninetieth birthday
and wish him a joyous birthday celebration and much happiness in the days
ahead.
