A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION commending and honoring Greg Blue, a member
of the Iroquois School District Board of Education, on his thirty -five years of
school board service.
WHEREAS, the 2025 -26 school year marks Greg Blue’s thirty -fifth year of school board
service, and the Associated School Boards of South Dakota honored him with the
Distinguished Service Award; and
WHEREAS, Greg has displayed an exceptional commitment to school board work
throughout his tenure on his local school board; and
WHEREAS, Greg’s years of service on the Iroquois School District Board of Education
provide an exemplary display of dedication to the students, staff members, and community
of the Iroquois School District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the One Hundred First Legislature of the
State of South Dakota, that Greg Blue, of Cavour, South Dakota, deserves honor and respect
for his continuing efforts to enhance the educational opportunities for K -12 students in this
state.
