A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION commending and honoring Richard Schlosser, a
member of the Frederick Area School District Board of Education, on his
twenty-five years of school board service.
WHEREAS, the 2025 -2026 school year marks Richard Schlosser's twenty -fifth year of
school board service and he was honored by the Association of School Boards of South Dakota
with the Distinguished Service Award; and
WHEREAS, Richard has displayed an exceptional commitment to school board work
throughout his tenure on the Frederick Area School Board; and
WHEREAS, Richard's years of service on his local school board is an exemplary display of
dedication to the students, staff members, and community of the Frederick Area School
District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the One Hundred First Legislature of the
State of South Dakota, that Richard Schlosser of Frederick, South Dakota, is commended on
his past, present, and future efforts to enhance educational opportunities for the K -12
students of this state.
