A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION to acknowledge Glenn Muller's distinguished
career and congratulate him on his achievements.
WHEREAS, Glenn Muller, of Davis, South Dakota, has dedicated his life to the agriculture
industry in South Dakota, having grown up on a swine operation, earned a degree in
agricultural education from South Dakota State University, and served the pork indus try in
numerous roles within the state; and
WHEREAS, throughout his career, Mr. Muller has witnessed and contributed to significant
changes in the industry, including overseeing the expansion of swine operations, advancing
the SDSU Swine Unit, and helping cultivate a more positive public perception of pork
production in South Dakota; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Muller's distinguished career and steadfast commitment to supporting
producers, advocating policy, and educating the public about modern agriculture have earned
Mr. Muller the South Dakota Corn Growers Association Lifetime Achievement Award; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Muller's current role as Executive Director of the South Dakota Pork
Producers Council has him overseeing work that ranges from educating future industry
members to promoting pork at local and state events;
WHEREAS, Mr. Muller was named the 2025 Agribusiness Citizen of the Year by the Greater
Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce and the 2025 Governor's Ag Ambassador, among other
awards he has received;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the One Hundred First Legislature of the
State of South Dakota, that Glenn Muller is congratulated on his exemplary career and
numerous accomplishments in supporting South Dakota's agriculture industry.
