A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION celebrating Solventum's expansion of its
Brookings, South Dakota, manufacturing facility.
WHEREAS, Solventum is a global healthcare innovation company dedicated to advancing
medical technologies, improving patient outcomes, and strengthening healthcare delivery
systems; and
WHEREAS, Solventum maintains a significant operational presence in Brookings, South
Dakota, and has completed a $220 million expansion of its Brookings facility, representing a
substantial investment in the local community and the state of South Dakota; and
WHEREAS, the expansion included the construction of an approximately 274,000-square-
foot building addition, which incorporates sixteen new loading docks, enhancing the
company's operational and distribution capabilities; and
WHEREAS, Solventum's expansion project in Brookings demonstrates a commitment to
the local economy and a confidence in South Dakota's prosperous business environment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the One Hundred First Legislature of the
State of South Dakota, that on April 2, 2026, Solventum will officially open its expanded
facility in Brookings, South Dakota, and continue its commitment to creating innovati ve
products and providing services that transform patient experiences and positively impact
millions of lives.
