A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to vacancies on the board of directors of the Lost Pines

Groundwater Conservation District.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:

SECTION 1. Section 8849.053, Special District Local Laws

Code, is amended to read as follows:

Sec. 8849.053. BOARD VACANCY.
(a)
If a vacancy occurs on the

board,
the vacancy shall be filled in the manner provided by Section

8849.052 for making the original appointment.
