A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the authority of certain cities to use certain tax

revenue for hotel and convention center projects and other

qualified projects.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:

SECTION 1. Section 351.153(a), Tax Code, is amended to read

as follows:

(a) This section applies only to a municipality described by

Section 351.152(5), (6),
(22),
(29), or (58).

SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
