A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the construction of bridges in Harris County.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:

SECTION 1. For the purpose of reducing traffic congestion

on public roads, the Texas Department of Transportation shall:

(1) develop a plan, conduct an environmental review,

and propose a design for:

(A) a bridge in Harris County crossing the

railroad tracks at the intersection of Little York Road and Hirsch

Road to provide rail-roadway grade separation; and

(B) a bridge in Harris County crossing the

railroad tracks at the intersection of Tidwell Road and Hirsch Road

to provide rail-roadway grade separation; and

(2) construct the bridges described by Subdivision (1)

of this section.

SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
