A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the compensation of commissioners of the Port of

Beaumont Navigation District of Jefferson County, Texas.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:

SECTION 1. Sections 5010.0205(a) and (b), Special District

Local Laws Code, are amended to read as follows:

(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a commissioner

shall receive
$750

] per month for the commissioner's

services.

(b) A commissioner serving as president of the board shall

receive
$850

$550
] per month.

SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
