A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the compensation of directors of the Aliana Management

District.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:

SECTION 1. Section 3865.054(a), Special District Local Laws

Code, is amended to read as follows:

(a) The district may compensate each director
as provided by

Section 49.060, Water Code
[
in an amount not to exceed $150 for each

board meeting. The total amount of compensation for each director

in one year may not exceed $7,200
].

SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives

a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as

provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this

Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this

Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
