R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Industrial Solutions Company in Arlington is

celebrating the 14th anniversary of its founding with a

ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new product line on May 14, 2025;

and

WHEREAS, Established in 2011, Industrial Solutions Company

is a wholesale distributor of janitorial and safety supplies; the

company benefits from the leadership of president and chief

executive officer Barbara Oldums and vice president and chief

financial officer Leonard Oldums; and

WHEREAS, Industrial Solutions Company has received numerous

accolades in recognition of its accomplishments, including a Jackie

Robinson Most Valuable Diverse Business Partner Award from the

Texas Rangers, an Outstanding Small Business of the Year Award in

the woman-owned category from the Greater Arlington Chamber of

Commerce, and the Outstanding Disadvantaged Business Enterprise

Award from the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency;

and

WHEREAS, Businesses are essential to their communities,

creating jobs and providing important products and services, and

the residents of Arlington are indeed fortunate to benefit from the

contributions of Industrial Solutions Company; now, therefore, be

it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas

Legislature hereby commemorate the 14th anniversary of Industrial

Solutions Company and extend to all those affiliated with the

business sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it

further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

prepared for the company as an expression of high regard by the

Texas House of Representatives.
