H.R. No. 1049

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Carlos De Los Santos has been named a recipient of a

2025 Distinguished Alumni Award by the Killeen Independent School

District Alumni Association; and

WHEREAS, Each year, the alumni association recognizes

Killeen ISD graduates who have contributed significantly to their

communities or professions and who serve as inspiring role models

for future generations; and

WHEREAS, A member of the Killeen High School Class of 1983,

Mr. De Los Santos answered his nation's call to duty and served in

the U.S. Army; he went on to work as a contractor for various

companies in Washington, D.C., before accepting a position at NASA,

where he is currently employed as a senior systems engineer; and

WHEREAS, The accomplishments of noteworthy alumni are a

source of great pride to all those associated with Killeen ISD, and

Carlos De Los Santos is indeed deserving of this prestigious honor;

now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas

Legislature hereby congratulate Carlos De Los Santos on his receipt

of a 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award from the Killeen Independent

School District Alumni Association and extend to him sincere best

wishes for continued success; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

prepared for Mr. De Los Santos as an expression of high regard by

the Texas House of Representatives.
