H.R. No. 1115

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Oliver Lehr has distinguished himself in his

responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State

Representative R. D. "Bobby" Guerra during the 89th Legislative

Session; and

WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Lehr has provided vital

assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,

including tracking bills, analyzing legislation, and communicating

with constituents; in addition to gaining valuable experience in

the field of public service, he has learned more about the

legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star

State; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Lehr currently attends The University of Texas

at Austin, where he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in government

and is involved in the Pre-Law Club; his previous experience has

included working as a Senate messenger at the Texas Capitol and

serving as an intern in the office of State Senator César Blanco;

and

WHEREAS, Oliver Lehr has performed his duties as a

legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed

deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,

be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas

Legislature hereby commend Oliver Lehr for his service as a

legislative aide in the office of State Representative R. D.

"Bobby" Guerra and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued

success in all his endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

prepared for Mr. Lehr as an expression of high regard by the Texas

House of Representatives.
