H.R. No. 1190
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Daniella Arroyo of Americas High School in the
Socorro Independent School District has distinguished herself in
her responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State
Representative Mary E. González; and
WHEREAS, Over the course of her internship, Ms. Arroyo has
provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging
tasks; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of
public service, she has learned more about the legislative process
and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, A senior at Americas High School, Ms. Arroyo is a
member of the Libertas Academy, allowing her to develop a strong
academic foundation in law, public policy, and government, and her
coursework also includes numerous Advanced Placement and
dual-credit classes; she has also been active in the school's
Library and Key Clubs; and
WHEREAS, Committed to civic engagement, Ms. Arroyo has
volunteered with the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank and the El
Paso Villa Maria women's shelter, where she has supported efforts
to uplift vulnerable populations in her community; moreover, she
has mentored younger students as a camp counselor; and
WHEREAS, Daniella Arroyo has performed her duties as a
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Daniella Arroyo for her service as a
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Mary
E. González and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Arroyo as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
