R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, The year 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the

Round Rock Chamber, an organization that has been instrumental in

fostering economic growth, supporting local businesses, and

enhancing the vibrancy of Central Texas; and

WHEREAS, Established on October 3, 1949, the Round Rock

Chamber has consistently championed initiatives that stimulate job

creation and encourage capital investment, thereby contributing to

the region's economic prosperity; and

WHEREAS, The chamber has played a vital role in Round Rock's

economic development through these endeavors, and its proactive

approach to business recruitment and expansion has attracted

globally recognized corporations to Round Rock, enhancing the

city's reputation as a prime location for companies to operate; and

WHEREAS, With an array of workforce development programs,

partnerships with educational institutions, and business-friendly

resources, the Round Rock Chamber is dedicated to building a

skilled talent pipeline for both large and small enterprises; it

has also fostered a thriving start-up scene in the city by offering

support to local entrepreneurs, and it has organized programs such

as Ascend and Leadership Round Rock to harness the potential of

emerging leaders and to promote awareness of issues impacting the

community; and

WHEREAS, In addition, the chamber has been a driving force in

facilitating productive communication between area business

leaders and policymakers, and it serves as a unified voice to

articulate its members' perspectives on key civic matters; and

WHEREAS, Through its comprehensive programs and initiatives,

the Round Rock Chamber has helped make Central Texas an even more

desirable place to live, work, and do business, and the celebration

of the chamber's 75th anniversary provides a fitting opportunity to

honor its rich legacy of service; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas

Legislature hereby congratulate the Round Rock Chamber on its 75th

anniversary and commend its members for their unwavering dedication

to economic development and community enrichment in Central Texas;

and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

prepared for the chamber as an expression of high regard by the

Texas House of Representatives.
