H.R. No. 1267
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal
milestones, and Hope Fitzmaurice is participating in that joyful
occasion with her graduation from Allen High School on May 23,
2025; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Fitzmaurice can reflect with great pride on the
perseverance she has demonstrated in the pursuit of her goals
throughout her high school career; a member of the cheerleading
team, she has served as a student section leader at various sporting
events, volunteered with local youth cheer initiatives, and served
as the senior class club leader and social media manager of the
Jersey Club; moreover, she has been involved in her school's art
program, and her work was selected for display at a districtwide
showcase; and
WHEREAS, Active in her community, Ms. Fitzmaurice has served
as a member of the Young Life chapter and youth group at Allen
Heights Baptist Church and as a volunteer for the Cottonwood Creek
Church children's ministry; she currently works for both 2nd Family
Dogs and FitzU Fitness Coaching; she was previously employed as an
online cheer coach, and she has provided child care as a nanny and
babysitter for a number of local families; upon graduation, she
plans to attend the University of Oklahoma; and
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join her family and
friends in recognizing her as she embarks on a future bright with
promise; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Hope Fitzmaurice on her graduation
from Allen High School and extend to her sincere best wishes for
continued success and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Fitzmaurice as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
