H.R. No. 1269
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal
milestones, and Bree Bearden is participating in that joyful
occasion with her graduation from Allen High School on May 23,
2025; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Bearden can reflect with great pride on the
perseverance she has demonstrated in the pursuit of her goals
throughout her high school career; she has managed a challenging
course load that includes numerous dual credit and Advanced
Placement classes, and she has held various leadership roles with
the Allen chapter of the National Charity League; a competitive
gymnast, she has further distinguished herself as a member of the
cheerleading team, and she has been involved in organizations such
as Peer Assistance and Leadership, the Young Life youth group, and
Jersey Club; and
WHEREAS, Active in her community, Ms. Bearden has
contributed to a wide range of initiatives supporting people in
need; she has also volunteered at Cottonwood Creek Church and
worked as a gymnastics coach and as a nanny for local families; this
fall, she plans to attend the University of Arkansas to pursue a
degree in pre-nursing; and
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join her family and
friends in recognizing her as she embarks on a future bright with
promise; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Bree Bearden on her graduation from
Allen High School and extend to her sincere best wishes for
continued success and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Bearden as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
