H.R. No. 1273

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal

milestones, and Caroline Walzel is participating in that joyful

occasion with her graduation from Allen High School on May 23,

2025; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Walzel can reflect with great pride on the

perseverance she has demonstrated in the pursuit of her goals

throughout her high school career; a member of the National Honor

Society, she has managed a challenging course load that includes

numerous dual credit and Advanced Placement classes, and she has

held various leadership roles with the Allen chapter of the

National Charity League; she has further distinguished herself as a

member of the cheerleading team, and she has been involved in

organizations such as Future Farmers of America, the Young Life

youth group, and Jersey Club; and

WHEREAS, Active in her community, Ms. Walzel has contributed

to a wide range of initiatives supporting youth, the elderly, and

people in need; she was previously employed as an assistant for the

National League of Junior Cotillions, and she has worked as a nanny

for local families; she is planning to study public health at Texas

A&M University; and

WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this

outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join her family and

friends in recognizing her as she embarks on a future bright with

promise; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas

Legislature hereby congratulate Caroline Walzel on her graduation

from Allen High School and extend to her sincere best wishes for

continued success and happiness; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

prepared for Ms. Walzel as an expression of high regard by the Texas

House of Representatives.
