H.R. No. 1291

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Mazbeen Ali has distinguished herself in her

responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State

Representative Chris Turner during the 89th Legislative Session;

and

WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Ali has provided vital

assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; among

other essential functions, she has supported the representative's

work on the Ways and Means Committee, created social media content,

tracked a wide variety of public policy issues, met with

stakeholders, and provided vote recommendations; in addition to

gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, she has

learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing

citizens of the Lone Star State; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Ali is a sophomore at Texas A&M University,

where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance and has been

involved in the Aggie Financial Women's Association and the

Strategic Philanthropy Class program; she also has volunteered at

both the Austin and Houston locations of the Ismaili Community

Center and Jamatkhana; in fall 2025, she intends to transfer to The

University of Texas at Austin; and

WHEREAS, Mazbeen Ali has performed her duties as a

legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed

deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,

be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas

Legislature hereby commend Mazbeen Ali for her service as a

legislative aide in the office of State Representative Chris Turner

and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all

her endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

prepared for Ms. Ali as an expression of high regard by the Texas

House of Representatives.
