H.R. No. 1312

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Larson Crank has distinguished himself in his

responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State

Representative Charles Cunningham during the 89th Legislative

Session; and

WHEREAS, Since joining the staff in January 2023, Mr. Crank

has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of tasks,

including attending events, conducting legislative research, and

handling constituent correspondence; in addition to gaining

valuable experience in the field of public service, he has learned

more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens

of the Lone Star State; and

WHEREAS, The son of Cameron and Leigh Ann Crank, this native

Texan graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in May 2025

with a bachelor's degree in history and government and a minor in

business and public policy; he took an active role in the Liberal

Arts Honors Program at UT, as well as the
Texas Economics Journal
,

the
Texas Orator
, the
Texas Undergraduate Research Journal
, and the

Beta Upsilon Chi fraternity; moreover, he earned placement on the

dean's honor list each semester and was recognized as a Thomas M.

Keel Fund scholar, an R. J. Kidd Memorial scholar, and an

Innovations for Peace and Development Research Fellow; he plans to

attend law school and specialize in administrative and

constitutional law; and

WHEREAS, Larson Crank has performed his duties as a

legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed

deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,

be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas

Legislature hereby commend Larson Crank for his service as a

legislative aide in the office of State Representative Charles

Cunningham and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued

success in all his endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

prepared for Mr. Crank as an expression of high regard by the Texas

House of Representatives.
