H.R. No. 1338
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Annabel Curtis has distinguished herself in her
responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State
Representative John H. Bucy III during the 89th Legislative
Session; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Curtis joined the staff as a participant in the
Bob Bullock Scholars Program at Baylor University; during her time
at the State Capitol, she has provided vital assistance in handling
a wide variety of challenging tasks, including completing floor
analysis and meeting with constituents and stakeholders; in
addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, A resident of Georgetown, Ms. Curtis is a junior at
Baylor University and is currently studying toward a degree in
political science with a minor in criminal justice, and she plans on
pursuing a career in advocacy and public service; in all her
endeavors, she benefits from the love and support of her mother,
Karen; and
WHEREAS, Annabel Curtis has performed her duties as a
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Annabel Curtis for her service as a
legislative aide in the office of State Representative John H. Bucy
III and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in
all her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Curtis as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
