H.R. No. 1386

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Brooke and James Dupper have added to the richness

and vitality of the Cedar Park economy by opening their new

business, Don't Tell Mama Tattoo; and

WHEREAS, First opened in January 2025, Don't Tell Mama Tattoo

is run by husband-and-wife team Brooke and James Dupper, who bring

to the venture a wealth of knowledge and skills developed in the

course of their respective careers; a former educator, Mrs. Dupper

was most recently employed as an assistant principal at Four Points

Middle School in Austin, while Mr. Dupper served in the U.S. Army in

Afghanistan and at Fort Hood before spending some 13 years in the

tattoo industry; and

WHEREAS, Committed to giving back, Don't Tell Mama Tattoo

participates in charity events, sponsors sports teams, and offers

internships for aspiring artists from area schools; and

WHEREAS, Locally owned enterprises contribute greatly to the

prosperity of their communities, and Don't Tell Mama Tattoo is a

welcome addition to the Cedar Park business scene; now, therefore,

be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas

Legislature hereby commemorate the opening of Don't Tell Mama

Tattoo and extend to Brooke and James Dupper and the shop's artists

sincere best wishes for success in their new endeavor; and, be it

further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

prepared for the shop as an expression of high regard by the Texas

House of Representatives.
