H.R. No. 1399
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Yanet Andablo has distinguished herself in her
responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State
Representative Jessica González during the 89th Legislative
Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Andablo has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
including managing social media communications and helping analyze
legislation; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the
field of public service, she has learned more about the legislative
process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; she
also supported the Texas House LGBTQ Caucus and offered mentorship
to staffers in other offices; and
WHEREAS, A native of Guntersville, Alabama, Ms. Andablo
graduated from Berea College in Kentucky with a bachelor's degree
in political science and a minor in law, ethics, and society; she
plans to attend law school and pursue a career in criminal defense;
and
WHEREAS, Yanet Andablo has performed her duties as a
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Yanet Andablo for her service as a
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Jessica
González and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Andablo as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
