H.R. No. 1454
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Samantha Sandoval has distinguished herself in her
responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State
Representative Janie Lopez during the 89th Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff through The University of
Texas Rio Grande Valley Legislative Internship Program,
Ms. Sandoval has provided vital assistance in handling a wide
variety of challenging tasks; a political science major, she has
assisted with public relations for House District 37 and helped
research legislation pertaining to the UTRGV School of Podiatric
Medicine; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field
of public service, she has learned more about the legislative
process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, Samantha Sandoval has performed her duties as a
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Samantha Sandoval for her service as a
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Janie
Lopez and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in
all her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Sandoval as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
