H.R. No. 1466

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Adrian Cornejo has distinguished himself in his

responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State

Representative Toni Rose during the 89th Legislative Session; and

WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Cornejo has provided

vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,

such as conducting legislative research and policy analysis,

attending committee hearings, and communicating with constituents

and stakeholders; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the

field of public service, he has learned more about the legislative

process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Cornejo is a junior at Texas State University,

where he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in political science and

has been named to the dean's and president's lists; over the years,

he has served as a delegate to the Texas A&M University MSC Student

Conference on National Affairs and as a writer and head of internal

relations for a media organization that provides in-depth coverage

of global conflicts; he has also worked as a legal assistant for the

Guerrero Law Offices in Dallas; and

WHEREAS, Adrian Cornejo has performed his duties as a

legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed

deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,

be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas

Legislature hereby commend Adrian Cornejo for his service as a

legislative aide in the office of State Representative Toni Rose

and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all

his endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

prepared for Mr. Cornejo as an expression of high regard by the

Texas House of Representatives.
