H.R. No. 1467

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Joseph Frausto has distinguished himself in his

responsibilities as a policy analyst in the office of State

Representative Toni Rose during the 89th Legislative Session; and

WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Frausto has provided

vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;

in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public

service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the

issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Frausto holds a bachelor's degree in political

science magna cum laude from St. Mary's University, and he is

currently working toward a master's degree in public affairs at the

Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of

Texas at Austin; while completing his undergraduate degree, he was

recognized on the Dean's Honor List and was also a member of the Pi

Sigma Alpha national political science honor society; moreover, he

previously served as a court clerk for Bexar County Justice of the

Peace Precinct 1, as an intern in the district office of U.S.

Representative Joaquin Castro, and as a canvasser for the Jessica

Cisneros congressional campaign; and

WHEREAS, Joseph Frausto has performed his duties as a policy

analyst with skill and dedication, and he is indeed deserving of

special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas

Legislature hereby commend Joseph Frausto for his service as a

policy analyst in the office of State Representative Toni Rose and

extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his

endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

prepared for Mr. Frausto as an expression of high regard by the

Texas House of Representatives.
