H.R. No. 1509
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Ross Video received a NAB Show Project of the Year
Award in the production category on April 8, 2025; and
WHEREAS, Part of the National Association of Broadcasters
convention in Las Vegas, the Project of the Year Awards is a new
program designed to spotlight the most ambitious and impactful
projects across the media and entertainment industry; and
WHEREAS, A fitting recipient of this notable honor, Ross
Video was recognized at the NAB Show for its work with Nelco Media
and the Texas House of Representatives in delivering a multiroom
broadcast solution; the project involved implementing a smart,
scalable system to update the main chamber and 16 committee rooms to
comply with state requirements for legislative recording; as a
result of the upgrades, the House has been able to simplify complex
workflows and increase access to important government proceedings;
and
WHEREAS, Through its collaboration with the House and Nelco
Media, Ross Video has helped to redefine the future of legislative
production and broadcasting, and it is indeed deserving of
recognition at this time; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Ross Video on receiving a 2025 NAB
Show Project of the Year Award and extend to all those associated
with the company sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ross Video as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
