H.R. No. 1539

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Abby Wells has ably served her fellow Texans as

chief of staff in the office of State Representative Tom Craddick

during the 89th Legislature; and

WHEREAS, Since becoming a legislative employee, Ms. Wells

has contributed to the workings of state government firsthand;

handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, she has provided

vital leadership and helped ensure the efficient operation of the

representative's office; and

WHEREAS, While guiding the staff in Representative

Craddick's office, Ms. Wells has also provided valuable and

much-appreciated assistance to the office of State Representative

Pat Curry; and

WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her

duties as chief of staff with skill and dedication, going above and

beyond for the benefit of residents of House Districts 82 and 56,

and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine

work; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas

Legislature hereby commend Abby Wells for her service as chief of

staff in the office of State Representative Tom Craddick and extend

to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her

endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

prepared for Ms. Wells as an expression of high regard by the Texas

House of Representatives.
