H.R. No. 427
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Bobby and Lindsey Kasprzak of The Woodlands have
made a meaningful difference in Montgomery County through their
nonprofit, philanthropic organization, the Apricity Foundation;
and
WHEREAS, The couple established the Apricity Foundation in
2021 with the goal of supporting Texas-based organizations that
assist veterans and other residents in need and that work to advance
pro-life, historical preservation, and animal welfare causes;
Mr. and Mrs. Kasprzak chose "apricity," a word that derives from
old English and describes the sensation of the sun's warmth on a
cold day, to represent the spirit of the foundation; and
WHEREAS, Since its inception, the organization has
contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to smaller nonprofits
in Montgomery County; to date, more than 50 charities and other
groups have benefited from its support, including Love Heals Youth,
God's Garage, the Conroe Police Officers Association, the Conroe
Noon Lions Club, and Pregnancy Assistance Center North; and
WHEREAS, Bobby and Lindsey Kasprzak's dedication to
philanthropy is of great inspiration to their fellow citizens, and
they may indeed take pride in knowing that their good works have
touched numerous lives; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Bobby and Lindsey Kasprzak for their
caring efforts as the founders of the Apricity Foundation and
extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Kasprzak as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
