H.R. No. 997

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Maggie Albrecht has ably served her fellow Texans as

district director for Galveston County in the office of State

Representative Terri Leo Wilson during the 89th Legislature; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Albrecht's resourcefulness and initiative have

earned the appreciation of her colleagues, and her contributions to

carrying forth Representative Leo Wilson's legislative agenda have

helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State;

and

WHEREAS, A native Texan, Ms. Albrecht obtained her

bachelor's degree in communication and media studies from the

University of Houston-Clear Lake, and she has enjoyed a rewarding

career in marketing; she has further distinguished herself through

her extensive humanitarian efforts, which include a number of

community projects and initiatives to help individuals in need;

possessed of a deep passion for the arts, she has a wealth of

experience in theatre and music; and

WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her

duties as district director with skill and dedication, and she is

indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,

therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas

Legislature hereby commend Maggie Albrecht for her service as

district director for Galveston County in the office of State

Representative Terri Leo Wilson and extend to her sincere best

wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it

further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

prepared for Ms. Albrecht as an expression of high regard by the

Texas House of Representatives.
