SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 421

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to

recognize Blue Branch Historic Ranch and Anxiety Solutions of

America for their outstanding work on behalf of veterans and

first responders; and

WHEREAS, Blue Branch Historic Ranch is a recreational

haven that provides nature-based recovery, peer-to-peer support,

and holistic mental health services for veterans, first

responders, and their families; and

WHEREAS, Working in partnership with Anxiety Solutions of

America, the ranch assists those struggling with post-traumatic

stress disorder, anxiety, and depression by combining therapy

and community with purpose-driven activities that reduce

isolation and promote healing; and

WHEREAS, Blue Branch Historic Ranch offers a wide range of

outdoor experiences designed to restore mental health and

physical well-being, and guests can enjoy such activities as

kayaking and swimming; veterans and first responders at the ranch

benefit from equine therapy sessions and workshops tailored to

help them reconnect with themselves and the natural world after

experiencing trauma in the line of duty; and

WHEREAS, A source of comprehensive care, Blue Branch

Historic Ranch supports veterans with housing assistance, help

filing medical claims, and transportation to and from medical

appointments, and plans are set to build a sustainable,

food-producing garden and establish new long-term wellness

programs at the ranch; and

WHEREAS, Blue Branch Historic Ranch and Anxiety Solutions

of America host large-scale community events to promote public

awareness about mental health challenges among the nation's

service members; all who are upholding the organization's

mission are truly deserving of recognition for their outstanding

service on behalf of veterans and first responders; now,

therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th

Legislature, hereby commend the founders, staff members, and all

who support the efforts of Blue Branch Historic Ranch and extend

to all best wishes for continued success in their important work;

and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for

them as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
