Recognizing La Salle Dialysis on the occasion of its grand opening.

SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 475

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to join

La Salle County in recognizing La Salle Dialysis, which celebrated

the occasion of its grand opening on April 3, 2025; and

WHEREAS, The residents of La Salle County and surrounding

communities have long faced challenges in accessing lifesaving

dialysis treatment without the burden of long-distance travel;

the establishment of La Salle Dialysis represents a significant

step forward to ensure access to high-quality, compassionate,

and convenient care nearby; and

WHEREAS, The center is proudly dedicated to the memory of

Precinct 1 Commissioner Chris Hinojosa III, a remarkable leader

and beloved member of the community who served as a steadfast

advocate of health, equality, and public service and whose vision

and actions helped pave the way for a healthier future; and

WHEREAS, La Salle Dialysis is a symbol of hope,

advancement, and dedication to those who depend on dialysis

services, and the grand opening of this vital facility represents

progress in the county's commitment to better health outcomes and

an improved quality of life for all; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th

Legislature, hereby celebrate the opening of La Salle Dialysis in

honor of the life and legacy of Chris Hinojosa III, and extend our

deepest gratitude to all who made this essential facility; and,

be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for

the facility in honor of this occasion.
