SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 59

In Memory

of

Alvin Boenker III

WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Alvin Henry

Boenker III were deeply saddened by his death on March 29, 2024,

at the age of 74; and

WHEREAS, A native of Fort Worth, Al Boenker was born on

October 7, 1949, and he attended Castleberry High School; he

married the love of his life, Sue, on December 5, 1970, and the

couple shared a fulfilling union that spanned five decades before

her passing; they became the proud parents of two children, Al

and Ashley, and later welcomed into their treasured family seven

grandchildren, Joelie, Oaklie, Quinlie, Cameron, Cole, Trigger,

and the late Al Boenker V; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Boenker established Al Boenker Insurance

Agency, Inc., in September 1972, and under his able leadership,

the business expanded to include a managing general agency and an

insurance company serving Texas; he also founded a corporation in

Mexico, and he supported his wife as she built one of the largest

Allstate agencies in the nation; in 2022, he stepped down from

his corporate responsibilities at ABI/Alinsco and took on the

role of chair emeritus; and

WHEREAS, A man of strong faith, Mr. Boenker enriched the

lives of others with his compassion, kindness, and spiritual

guidance, and during the holiday season, he shared the gospel on

major broadcast networks; and

WHEREAS, Al Boenker lived a life that was rich in personal

and professional achievements, and he will forever be a source of

inspiration to those he leaves behind; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th

Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Alvin Henry

Boenker III and extend sincere condolences to the members of

his family: to his son, Al Boenker IV, and his wife, Gloria; to

his daughter, Ashley Osborn, and her husband, Byron; to his

grandchildren, Joelie, Oaklie, Quinlie, Cameron, Cole, and

Trigger; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be

it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be

prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns

this day, it do so in memory of Alvin Henry Boenker III.
