SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 598

In Memory

of

Vicki Morgan

WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever cherish their

memories of Vicki Morgan of Tyler, who passed away on April 8,

2025, at the age of 73; and

WHEREAS, The daughter of Charles and Neva Hall, the former

Vicki Hall was born on October 4, 1951, and she grew up with the

companionship of a sister, Charleen; after graduating from

Linden-Kildare High School in 1970, she moved to Nacogdoches

before eventually settling in Tyler; and

WHEREAS, She exchanged vows with her high school

sweetheart, Tony Morgan, and the couple shared in a rewarding

marriage spanning 54 years; they were blessed with two children,

Karen and Ben, and over the years, she became a proud "Granmom"

and "GiGi" to their three grandchildren, Meghan, Nick, and Lola;

and

WHEREAS, A woman of profound faith, Mrs. Morgan was a

member of Green Acres Baptist Church; she took pleasure in such

hobbies as traveling, sewing, gardening, cooking, and crafting,

and she also enjoyed many happy hours with the Ferndale Fishing

Club and at her cabin in Jefferson; above all else, she treasured

time spent with her family, hosting Easter egg hunts, pumpkin

painting parties, and other holiday celebrations; and

WHEREAS, Vicki Morgan led a life of caring devotion to her

loved ones, and although she is deeply missed, her spirit will

forever live in their hearts; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th

Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Vicki Morgan and

extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her

husband, Tony Morgan; to her children, Karen Orlowski and her

husband, Ryan, and Ben Morgan and his wife, Stephanie; to her

grandchildren, Meghan Orlowski, Nick Orlowski and his wife,

Karris, and Lola Morgan; to her sister, Charleen Creamer, and her

husband, Milton; and to her many other relatives and friends;

and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be

prepared for her family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns

this day, it do so in memory of Vicki Morgan.
