SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 626

WHEREAS, Galen College of Nursing is celebrating the grand

opening of its new campus in San Antonio on May 27, 2025; and

WHEREAS, A top provider in the San Antonio Ready to Work

training program, Galen College of Nursing currently operates 22

campuses nationwide; its San Antonio location opened its doors in

early April and serves more than 2,200 students, helping to meet

the increasing demand for nursing professionals in San Antonio,

Bexar County, and Texas; and

WHEREAS, The five-story facility spans 157,000 square feet

and features interactive learning classrooms, clinical learning

labs, a simulation hospital, a café, and study spaces for

students; and

WHEREAS, Galen College of Nursing has played an

instrumental role in training the next generation of nursing

professionals, and its new campus is sure to be an invaluable

resource for area students; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th

Legislature, hereby commemorate the grand opening of the Galen

College of Nursing in San Antonio and extend to all those

affiliated with the school sincere best wishes for the future;

and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be

prepared for the college as an expression of high regard from the

Texas Senate.
