SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 683

In Memory

of

Tory Daniels

WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Tory Charles Daniels

of De Kalb were deeply saddened by his death on April 14, 2025, at

the age of 52; and

WHEREAS, The son of Charles and Eyvonne Daniels, Tory

Daniels was born on October 27, 1972, in Texarkana, and he grew

up with the companionship of a sister, Carla, and brother,

Damon; and

WHEREAS, In 1991, Mr. Daniels graduated from De Kalb High

School, where he was active in several sports and played in the

band; he went on to attend Southern Arkansas University and The

University of Texas at Arlington before enlisting in the United

States Army; and

WHEREAS, Although Tory Daniels will be deeply missed, he

has left his family and friends with a wealth of memories that

they will forever treasure; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th

Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the life of Tory Charles

Daniels and extend sincere condolences to the members of his

family: to his parents, Charles and Eyvonne Daniels; to his

siblings, Carla and Damon; to his wife, Roni; to his daughters,

Summer Prim and her husband, Jacori, and Bailey Black and her

husband, Brandon; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be

it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be

prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns

this day, it do so in memory of Tory Daniels.
