SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 717

WHEREAS, The Hope Center in Plano has made outstanding

contributions to Christian ministries for more than 15 years; and

WHEREAS, Established in 2009 by June Hunt, The Hope Center

seeks to promote collaboration, efficiency, and financial

stewardship among Christian non-profit ministries, supporting

over 65 partner organizations through mentoring, training, and

a wide range of professional resources, including reduced rates

on office space, free event and meeting spaces, on-site IT,

notary, catering services, and a fitness center; sitting on a

nine-acre campus, the facility spans 185,000 square feet and

features a café which is open to the public; and

WHEREAS, The Hope Center's mission is focused on

accelerating Kingdom impact by empowering Christian non-profit

ministries to work together to impact the world for Christ; and

WHEREAS, Since its founding, The Hope Center has played a

vital role in helping local Christian ministries achieve their

goals, and the organization is indeed deserving of recognition

for its lasting, positive influence; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th

Legislature, commend The Hope Center for its service to the

great State of Texas and extend to all those associated with the

organization sincere best wishes for continued success with

their important work; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be

prepared for The Hope Center as an expression of high regard

from the Texas Senate.
