An Act to repeal §
46.2-746.22
of the Code of Virginia and Chapter 235 of the Acts of Assembly of 2007, relating to special license plates; Sons of Confederate Veterans and Robert E. Lee.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That §
46.2-746.22
of the Code of Virginia is repealed.
2. That Chapter 235 of the Acts of Assembly of 2007 is repealed.
3. That all license plates issued pursuant to §
46.2-746.22
of the Code of Virginia or Chapter 235 of the Acts of Assembly of 2007, as they were in effect prior to the effective date of this act, shall remain valid until their expiration and shall not be renewed.
