Conveyance of easement.
Authorizes the Department of Wildlife Resources to grant and convey an appurtenant and non-exclusive easement and right-of-way at the Highland Wildlife Management Area (the WMA) to A1 Land LLC to allow vehicular ingress and egress along Davis Run Road to access the grantee's property. The bill also authorizes the Department to accept a similar easement from A1 Land LLC to allow vehicular ingress and egress over the LLC's property to access the WMA.

An Act to authorize the Department of Wildlife Resources to grant and convey an appurtenant and non-exclusive easement and right-of-way at Highland Wildlife Management Area and to accept an appurtenant and non-exclusive access easement and right-of-way at Highland Wildlife Management Area.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1.
§ 1. That in accordance with and as evidence of General Assembly approval, the Department of Wildlife Resources (Grantor) is hereby authorized to grant and convey an appurtenant and non-exclusive easement for ingress and egress (Easement) to A-1 Land LLC (Grantee) and its successors and assigns, over that portion of the Davis Run Road that crosses the Highland Wildlife Management Area (WMA), to and from State Route 615, with the centerline of the Easement to be the centerline of the existing roadbed. The WMA is identified as Tax Parcel Number 567 in a Deed dated July 11, 1962, and recorded in the Clerk's Office, Circuit Court, Highland County, Virginia, in Deed Book 44, page 7. The purpose of this Easement is to convey to the Grantee a 50-foot-wide right-of-way for vehicular ingress and egress to the Grantee's 210-acre parcel of real property, identified as Tax Map Number 56-A-1 and described as Instrument Number 250000383 in a Deed recorded in the Clerk's Office, Circuit Court, Highland County, Virginia. The granting and conveying of this Easement shall be made upon terms the Grantor deems proper, with the approval of the Department of General Services, and the Secretary of Administration, and in a form approved by the Attorney General.
§ 2.
