WHEREAS, Caroline's Promise strives to meet the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of young people in Caroline County, allowing them to meet their fullest potential and become active young leaders in the community; and
WHEREAS, supported by the Caroline County Board of Supervisors and through generous donations from local businesses and churches, Caroline's Promise offers a wide range of programs to provide resources directly to young people and enrich their family environments; and
WHEREAS, Caroline's Promise integrates its Five Promises into its programs and services, promising to create ongoing relationships with caring adults, maintain safe places with structured activities during non-school hours, give young people a healthy start and future, help young people develop marketable skills through effective education, and cultivate opportunities to give back through community service; and
WHEREAS, Caroline's Promise has fulfilled its mission and increased the number of youths countywide who have access to the Five Promises through the hard work of its volunteers and generous support from community partners; and
WHEREAS, Caroline's Promise has touched countless young lives through its programs and services, demonstrating the power of collaborative leadership in addressing community challenges; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend Caroline's Promise for its commitment to youth empowerment and advocacy; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Caroline's Promise as an expression of the General Assembly's admiration for the organization's work to give young people the resources they need to succeed in life.
