WHEREAS, the Tuscarora Mill Restaurant, a beloved dining establishment in Loudoun County, has greatly served the community for 40 years; and
WHEREAS, the Tuscarora Mill Restaurant, known affectionately by locals as “Tuskie's,” was opened in 1985 in a 19th century grain mill in historic downtown Leesburg; and
WHEREAS, from the beginning, the Tuscarora Mill Restaurant has embraced the “buy local” approach while drawing inspiration from cuisines around the globe, achieving a menu that emphasizes both freshness and innovation; and
WHEREAS, the warm ambience and décor of the Tuscarora Mill Restaurant, paired with the exceptional hospitality of its staff and the quality of its food, combine to create a truly unique and satisfying dining experience; and
WHEREAS, as a testament to its reputation among local diners, the Tuscarora Mill Restaurant has been regularly listed as one of the best restaurants in the region by outlets such as
Washingtonian
magazine; and
WHEREAS, with an uncompromising commitment to excellence and service, the Tuscarora Mill Restaurant has helped to make Loudoun County a wonderful place to live, work, and dine; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend the Tuscarora Mill Restaurant on the occasion of its 40th anniversary; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to management of the Tuscarora Mill Restaurant as an expression of the General Assembly's admiration for the restaurant's contributions to Loudoun County and the Commonwealth.
