WHEREAS, Kollectible Kings, an esteemed purveyor of cards and collectibles with shops in both Virginia Beach and Winchester, has greatly served the community for many years; and
WHEREAS, Kollectible Kings is a family-run operation owned by a dad and his sons who wanted to build a business around their shared passion for card collecting; and
WHEREAS, Kollectible Kings specializes in selling baseball, basketball, football, and soccer cards, as well as Pokémon cards and an array of Funko toys; and
WHEREAS, Kollectible Kings offers several tiers of products to appeal to both beginner and experienced hobby card collectors, as well as a variety of supplies to facilitate their collecting pursuits; and
WHEREAS, as an authorized retailer of major card brands and publishers, Kollectible Kings has earned a reputation for reliability, authenticity, and affordability among its regular customers, affectionately known as the Kollector Army; and
WHEREAS, Kollectible Kings strives to provide not only a retail experience, but to foster a community where collectors may gather to share their experiences and learn from one another; and
WHEREAS, the accomplishments of Kollectible Kings are the result of the hard work and dedication of the business's owners and staff, whose love for card collecting is apparent in all aspects of the store; and
WHEREAS, by providing a destination for hobby card collectors from throughout the Commonwealth and beyond, Kollectible Kings has helped to make Virginia Beach and Winchester wonderful places to live, work, and play; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Kollectible Kings hereby be commended for its legacy of service; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Kollectible Kings as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the business's contributions to the Commonwealth.
