WHEREAS, Kelly's Tavern, a locally owned and operated restaurant chain with locations in Chesapeake, Newport News, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach, has greatly served the Hampton Roads community for many years; and
WHEREAS, Kelly's Tavern offers a diverse menu of appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, paninis, wraps, tacos, pizzas, entrees, and desserts, with options to please all palates; and
WHEREAS, with indoor and outdoor seating and regular music performances, Kelly's Tavern cultivates a warm, inviting, and family-friendly atmosphere that creates memorable dining experiences and keeps customers coming back time and again; and
WHEREAS, Kelly's Tavern frequently serves as the venue for large parties and events, such as birthdays, baby showers, office functions, and more, creating an accommodating space where communities and groups of friends can gather and celebrate; and
WHEREAS, the success of Kelly's Tavern is a result of the hard work and dedication of the restaurant's staff, who strive every day to ensure their customers' enjoyment and satisfaction; and
WHEREAS, as an institution in the region's restaurant scene, Kelly's Tavern has helped to make Hampton Roads a wonderful place to live, work, and dine; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Kelly's Tavern hereby be commended for its legacy of service in the Hampton Roads community; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Kelly's Tavern as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the restaurant chain's contributions to the Commonwealth.
