Commending Busch Vacuum Solutions.
Agreed to by the House of Delegates, March 2, 2026
WHEREAS, in November 2025, Busch Vacuum Solutions, a worldwide leader in the manufacturing and sales of vacuum pumps, blowers, compressors, and other custom equipment, celebrated 50 years of operations in the United States with the grand reopening of its Virginia Beach headquarters; and
WHEREAS, Busch Vacuum Solutions, a family-owned firm founded in Germany, established its United States presence in 1975, and the Virginia Beach location is now one of more than 60 subsidiaries supporting manufacturing, engineering, and service operations around the world; and
WHEREAS, the new 200,000-square-foot Busch Vacuum Solutions campus on Viking Drive in Virginia Beach features state-of-the-art training facilities and other assets that will reinforce the Commonwealth as a hub for advanced manufacturing and clean-technology production; and
WHEREAS, Busch Vacuum Solutions directly supports hundreds of jobs in Virginia Beach and contributes millions of dollars in economic impact to the local economy; its products are critical for semiconductor fabrication, food processing, aerospace technology, renewable energy, and other industries; and
WHEREAS, Busch Vacuum Solutions supports Habitat for Humanity, Clean the Bay Day, fundraisers for local charitable organizations, and other volunteer initiatives, demonstrating a culture of community service; and
WHEREAS, through its sustainability program, Busch Vacuum Solutions prioritizes energy-efficient product design, waste reduction, and responsible resource use, underscoring a corporate philosophy that blends innovation with environmental stewardship; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Busch Vacuum Solutions hereby be commended on the occasion of its 50th anniversary of operations in the United States; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Busch Vacuum Solutions as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the organization's commitment to innovation, its longstanding partnership with Virginia Beach, and its legacy of contributions to the Commonwealth.
