WHEREAS, in February 2026, Always Best Care Senior Services, El Fogón Taqueria, The Cut Butchery, and The Joint Chiropractic were selected as the Mount Vernon Springfield Chamber of Commerce New Business of the Year honorees; and
WHEREAS, the Mount Vernon Springfield Chamber of Commerce New Business of the Year honorees received this prestigious honor at THE BEST Business Awards Celebration, which recognizes individuals and businesses that have cultivated reputations for high-quality products and excellent customer service and are committed to making a difference in the community; and
WHEREAS, a leader in compassionate senior care, Always Best Care Senior Services provides non-medical in-home care, senior living referrals, and a broad range of personalized services, ensuring that older adults have the support they need to age with dignity in the community of their choosing; and
WHEREAS, El Fogón Taqueria, which serves Mexican street tacos in a warm and welcoming setting, offers an unforgettable dining experience where families can come together to enjoy rich culinary traditions; and
WHEREAS, The Cut Butchery is an old-school butcher shop established with assistance from farmers and industry professionals that offers a wide variety of meat, seafood, and provisions from local partners; the business strives to educate customers while providing exceptional service and high-quality, locally sourced meats at affordable prices; and
WHEREAS, The Joint Chiropractic is dedicated to family chiropractic and spine health, offering relief from lower back pain, sciatica pain, and migraines, as well as a pathway to wellness with a natural, drug-free approach to health care; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Always Best Care Senior Services, El Fogón Taqueria, The Cut Butchery, and The Joint Chiropractic hereby be commended on the occasion of their selection as the 2026 New Business of the Year honorees by Mount Vernon Springfield Chamber of Commerce; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare copies of this resolution for presentation to the Mount Vernon Springfield Chamber of Commerce New Business of the Year honorees as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for their exceptional contributions to the vibrant economy in Northern Virginia and service to local residents.
